Mode is the number that appears the most in the set of numbers. 1,2,2,2,3,4,5
The mode would be 2.  Mode sounds like most....remember it that way.

The mode is defined as a value which occurs most frequently in a data set. Mode indicates the most common result of a set of observations. A set of data may have more than one mode or no mode at all when each observation occurs the same number of times. The mode for a group data can be calculated by using formula;

Mode = l + [fm - f1]/[(fm-f1) + (fm-f2)] * h

l= lower class boundary of the modal class

fm=frequency of the modal class

f1= frequency associated with the class preceding the modal class

f2= frequency associated with the class following the modal class

h= width of class interval

When the data re-organized into a grouped frequency distribution, the mode would lie in the class that carries the highest frequency. This class is called the modal class.

The mode is the most common number appearing in a set of numbers. For instance, in the set 1, 2, 3, 3, 4, the number 3 is the mode.
