What Is The Relationship Between Capitalism, Colonialism, And Racism?

Answer Question

For me its slavery and exploitation. Capitalist countries historically made their wealth by invading poorer nations, they colonised them and controlled them using slaves. As an irish republican, I have seen the results of such policies and the legacies they leave even after 100s of years. It happened here in ireland under the british and I fear it will happen in iraq under the americans. Racism is one of the methods of control in colonised countries that insure that a white power is dominant while here in northern ireland it was sectarian control. This is where religious differences were exploited as one religion was favored over another. Again ,think of the sunnis and the shiites in iraq. It creates different classes within each society.
