What Are The Pros And Cons Of Giving A Baby The Mother's Last Name?
I'm pregnant w/ my ex. He has not been very supportive emotionally or financially. He keeps making false promises which caused me to question whether or not he will be there when the baby arrives. At this point, I really feel that the baby deserves to have my last name instead of the father's since I've been going through this whole pregnancy by myself. I don't know if this is a good decision??

If you want the baby to have your last name then why not. Just make sure the father's name is on the birth certificate so you can hit him up for child support!
