Have British Prime Ministers Become More Presidential In Recent Years?

Answer Question

1 Answer - Sort by: Date | Rating

Well the run up to the elections may have, and so has the campaigning that is part of the election process, and has certainly become polarised, and involves  much  mud slinging on both sides, much like the democrats and republicans, who battle it out in the media, with one or two big scandals hitting the press, with the candidate dropping out of the race.

Are the personalities more presidential? perhaps, but both Gordon Brown and Tony Blair, and I'm afraid, all the others too, do talk to the British public and their voters, in the most condescending and awful way, as if they were explaining something to a nursery school class. Perhaps this is what society has be reduced to, or maybe it is more American, I'm not sure, either way I find it awful.
