What Can You Make In 10 Minutes?

Any cold dish could be made.  I have done well with a microwave to cook meats (even steaks) or shrimp in 10 minutes.  

SHRIMP
Shrimp microwave very well in a ventilated (microwave safe) bag.  Make sure the shrimp are not stacked on top of each other but are all flat.  They are good in 3 minutes.  

STEAKS
Steaks can be cooked on medium for 3 to 4 minutes in the microwave.  During this time, you can heat up your skillet and then cook for the remaining 6 minutes.

One of my favorite quick and easy chilly weather meals is tomato soup and grilled cheese sandwiches.  Also you can purchase frozen cheese or meat stuffed raviolis or other pasta (I have some cheese tortellinis in my freezer) while you let those cook, you can be heating up a jar of spaghetti or alfredo sauce, and have some already prepared garlic bread in you oven.  And you can get salad mix if you wasn't a salad, and even ice cream or bakery goods for dessert if you like.  But cooking the pasta shouldn't take too long if your water is boiling rapidly when you add the pasta.  Bon appetit!

Any sandwich could be made in under 10 minutes, a salad could be made, most microwaveable foods, pasta or rice, a stir fry
