Most car stereos don't play MP3 CDs, but require audio format CDs instead. Additionally, many music CD players (car, home, portable) are less capable of reading

Some car stereos don't pick mp3 CDs and they only play tracks of .CDA extension. Your CD must have audio tracks with .CDA extension so that it can be played on your car stereo.

Not all car CD players play all types of digital tracks. It may be that you have to convert your MP3s back to their original format so the car stereo can play them.
