    Glamorgan also known as Glamorganshire is part of the thirteen ancient counties and a former governing county of Wales. Glamorgan comprises of two large Welsh cities, Cardiff and Swansea, with Cardiff being the Capital. Glamorgan shares its land borders with Brecknockshire to the north, Monmouthshire to the east, Bristol Channel to the south, and Carmarthenshire and Carman Bay to the west. The total area of Glamorgan is 2,100 square kilometres.

    Glamorgan is one of the highest populated industrial cities in entire Wales. The northern region of the county is surrounded by mountains, broken down by steep narrow valleys.

    There are quiet a few rives in Glamorgan like Taff, Ely, Ogmore, Neath, Dulais, Tawe, Rhymney and Loughor. The total population of Glamorgan is around 1,220,000, and its peak point is Craig-Y-llyn.
