The throbbing needle and pressure when the tattoo was being applied could of bruised the muscle, especially if it is a fairly large tattoo. It should eventually go away. Hopefully, you used a clean, and professional tattoo parlor, with a good reputation and responsible tattooists.

I would go back to where you got it done and ask if it is normal?? 45 days seems a bit long to me for you to still be in pain I have 4 tattoos and never had pain that long!

Maybe I should ,it just hurts a bit when I move my arm in a certain way not when I massage it
There is a possibility that you could have an infection, and you should visit the place you received the tattoo and have them examine it.
