I am a little behind on rent but will be caught up in just a couple of days. Can my landlord discuss that information with my neighbors?

There's no way a landlord can talk about your financial situation to anyone without your consent!! I suggest you confront him about it and tell him you know your behind, but it's not a monthly thing that happens. Tell him he's wrong for discussing your personal information with anyone! If that doesn't work, get free advice from a lawyer.
