You don't, you buy it at the nearest supermarket. But here are two recipes that taste just as good:
a)
1. half a kilogram of strawberries pureed
2. vanilla extract (1 teaspoon)
3. heavy cream (three cups)
4. half and half (one cup)
5. large egg
6. sugar (one cup)
Pour the puree into a blender and add all the other ingredients. Blend it thoroughly. Use an ice-cream maker to form the ice-cream.
b)
1). Milk (250 ml)
2). Egg yolks (three)
3). Heavy cream (500 ml)
4). Sugar (100 g)
5). Vanilla essence (1 teaspoon)
6). ¼ tea spoon salt
7) two cups of fresh strawberries
Half the sugar has to be mixed with the strawberries and kept aside. The remaining ingredients are to be mixed in a bowl over a small flame. Mash the strawberries and mix all the ingredients together. Use an ice-cream maker to make the ice-cream.
In case an ice-cream mixer is not available a freezer can also be used. An ice-cream made directly by freezing needs to be whisked twice every hour for two hours to form a good creamy texture.
