    I Live In Texas And I Quit My Job After Working On The Same Job For 30 Years. I Quit Because Of Undue Stress And Medical Reasons. I Have Not Worked For 2 Years Now. Can I Receive Unemployment?

    I am new to Blurtit . I have gone to staff agencies and have not been successful finding employment. They tell you all these wonderful things like " you have great work ethics, I don't know anybody that has stayed at one job for so long. They claim they will put your resume out there. Every week I call in saying I am available. Yet on their website they post these jobs and positions that are available. I haven't heard anything as of yet.

    Yes, of course you can apply for unemployment benefits as long as you are unemployed. At the same time you should also try to get some other respectable job. I hope you would get it very soon as you have plenty of good experience with you.
