The Parc des Princes, which translates as Princes' Park, is a stadium situated in the 16th arrondissement of Paris at the end of the Bois de Boulogne. It was formerly the national stadium of France, hosting the French soccer and rugby cups finals. This changed as the the Stade de France was constructed for the France soccer world cup in 1998. It is still home to Paris Saint-Germain (PSG), a popular football team. Many of games of the 1998 Football World Cup were played in this stadium. This included the spectacular semi-final match played between Brazil and the Netherlands which Brazil ultimately won. This 48,527-seat stadium, which was the design of architect Roger Taillibert, opened to the public in June 1972. It is remains the third biggest French stadium after the Stade de France.
