How Are CD Covers Made?

Answer Question

1 Answer - Sort by: Date | Rating

The covers of compact discs (which are abbreviated as CD) are now made on personal computers by graphic designers. They download the front, back and label pictures for each set of CD covers and then make the covers of a transparent type of plastic.

They are designed in such a way that the users can write their own text on them. There are many software programs such as CoverSetup which help people to make their own CD covers. The labels of CD's are round. The sheet of paper is then cut or clipped in such a way that it fits inside the box that holds the CD.

The paper is folded along the two lines on the back cover of a CD box. The instructions to make CD covers are on a downloadable Zip file.
