Pentium M is actually the two single core 32 bit microprocessors that were produced by Intel and were part of the Intel Centrino Platform.
They were launched in March 2003 and are still upgraded. They were manufactured for the sole purpose of use in Laptop personal computers. That is why the letter M was attached to the brand name which stands for Mobile.
