 The village, Sulgrave houses the Sulgrave Manor. South Northamptonshire harbours this small village called Sulgrave. South Northamptonshire is a district in Northampotonshire, England. Warwickshire, Leicestershire, Rutland, Cambridgeshire, Bedfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Oxfordshire and Lincolnhire surround the county of Northamptonshire.

Sulgrave is placed near Banbury in Oxfordshire. The Sulgrave Manor is well-known as the ancestral house of George Washington. The original home of George Washington was Washington Old Hall in Washington, Tyne and Wear. Lawrence Washington bought the Sulgrave Manor which was held by them for over a hundred years.

The Manor has beautiful gardens with lavender fields. The Herb Society has its National Herb Garden here. It also has the exhibits of its award-winning cultivations in the manor garden.
