    The original thirteen colonies were Connecticut, Delaware, Georgia,
    Maryland, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, North
    Carolina, South Carolina, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island and Virginia.  That leaves the other 37.
