4. How Many Moles Of Water Are Produced If 3 Moles Of Oxygen Were Used?

Answer Question

1 Answer - Sort by: Date | Rating

    Water is produced when hydrogen and oxygen are combined. The chemical equation for the redaction is;

    2H2 + O2 ------------- > 2H2O

    One mole of oxygen gas is combined with two moles of hydrogen gas to form two moles of water.

    Multiply the equation with three.

    6H2 + 3O2 ------------ > 6H2O

    Three moles are used to produced six moles of water.
