Answer Question

Maybe speaker system has a cut out to avoid popping the speaker .or to stop damage to listeners hearing  its proven that too many decibels over long periods of time effect the internal workings of the ear making it harder to hear

Amps cannot determine the "popping" point of speakers or DB (decibels) level

Sounds like your amp cannot keep up with the power commands, try upgrading the power wire to a larger size 4Ga. Is good

you can also try turning the "levels" and "gain" down on the amp to tune it to prevent the problem and sounds to your liking
