Lough Erne is a lake that is located in Northern Ireland, which runs along River Erne. This rive begins its source at the north end and then redirects west into the Atlantic. It is located in the County Fermanagh. The southern end of the lake is still higher up the river and is called as the Upper Lough Erne. The northern end of the lake is located Lower Lough Erne. There is also a canal that exists which is situated at the higher end of the River Shannon and the River Erne. This canal proves really helpful to navigate boats from Shannon estuary in southwest Ireland; it also provides very beautiful scenery. Flanked by the two lakes ia a very small town named Enniskillen that is found here.
