How To Rid The House Of Field Mice?

Believe it or not, simply fill a lid, say from a peanut
butter jar, put Coke in it and set it in an out of
the way place.   Even the Coke (or Pepsi)
that is too flat for our taste will do the job.
This method is good if there's kids and
other animals around that might get into any
poison bait that you might put down.
Ye olde mouse traps work fine, but you have
the same problem:  Involving something
that you didn't want to.  The 'snap' of a
spring trap can easily break a little kid's
finger or an animal's toe.  This, if either
get into it, might be a bit icky, but it'll just
be flat Coke.  Too. If the mouse is found by
a house pet or makes it back outside, there'll
be no ill effects to whatever eats it.
