What Do You Think Of The Twilight Books?

Answer Question

7 Answers - Sort by: Date | Rating

I have only read Twilight so far but it was a good book. I read a lot so I have read a LOT of books and, although most people would disagree, I did not think that it was the best book in the world. It started slow and took over half of the book to get interesting.

If you like teenage romance books you'd love this one.

It is really brilliant i could not put it down and i thought the characters were interesting. You just want to find out more of some them.
ignore shortstuff as its amazing from the start.

Well...I think the series is pretty good. I would recommend the first couple books to younger readers, but the two last books are a little.....intense....and have some content not for younger people. I am 12 and I read the first two books (twilight and new moon), but some of my friends read the last two (eclipse and breaking dawn) and they told me what happens and that it's a little...well...not suitable for kids under age...I would say to read the last 2 books, you would have to be...about 11 or 12. Hope this helps!

I think that twilight is a great series, that steph myer brought out. I personally recommend the 3rd book but if your going to read the books go all the way through. If you like the books then you'll love the movie, it is the best movie i have ever sen, and their the best series of books I have ever read, even better than harry potter. Well thats what I think, see for your self.

Well, I've read the first book in a single day! Maybe, because of my age and my current mood, I just couldn't resist putting it down for not more than five minutes. You know, I have never experienced such thing, and I didn't know what was wrong with me. Our mid-term examination was just two days later, and I hadn't prepared for it yet. Although i knew i couldn't continue reading, i just couldn't stop! This just made me believe the myths that there might be some books that once you opened it you couldn't put it down through your life. As for the comparison with Harry Potter, i think both of them are nice books. They are just very different. Harry Potter has an incredibly logically related plots, and it challenges your imagination. Reading HP is very interesting. It's like you are a child once more and you may make friends with the characters in the book. But, reading Twilight challenges your emotion. You may find yourself in a crazy mood not wanting to do anything else, though you actually have a lot of important things to do. It makes you really exciting and intense, though you might even fail to know the reason for these some days later. It just like poisons. So be careful of opening the book!

I begin to read the book yesterday, and wow I loved it!!!!!
I´m 14 and the book is from the age of 12, but I each think 12 is a very young age, to read this book.
My life makes to me much more sens!
If you want to read twilight, you have to be in control of your life, you have to know who you are and more importantly is you have to know about love.(I maybe know what you´re thinking "WHAT DOES THIS 14 YEAR OLD GIRL NOW ABOUT LOVE?",yeah but I´m learning about it in books.
I am also a huge fan of Celine Dion and in my opinion the song by her "LET YOUR HEART DECIDE" goes better with the movie and the book

          Hi iii
Here I am again, the one who´ve written the comment one week ago,the 14- year old girl.
I´ve seen the movie, but i do like the book more because the emotions are described better and the book touched one in a way....
And I´ve got one question,if someone out there is able to respond?
I recommended the book "EXACTLY AS I AM" by Shaun Robinson, if you have red it, what do you think, because it reminds me of Bella Swan, she is (in my opinion) a shy character, if she would be alive, she would maybe need this kind of book for her self-esteem.
