If A Misdemeanor Bench Warrant Is Issued, Will It Follow Somebody To A Different State?

If a misdemeanor bench warrant is issued in the state of Nevada, will it follow somebody if they moved to the state of Virginia? Would the police in Virginia have record of the bench warrant, if they did a background check?
