To be a good, loving, capable, responsible person. TO have a good sense of'self'. To be kind to others. TO be honest in their dealings. Respectful of elders, considerate of others' feelings. To get along with others. (so they need some social skills)
Some parents feel that if their child is the smartest in the class or wear the best clothes and have plenty of 'stuff' that they will be liked and ok. THIS IS RIDICULOUS. I know some really intelligent people that you can't stand to be around. Having the best of stuff is all outward and won't ensure any kind of quality of life.
