Some dogs have pigmentation on their gums just like on rest of the body so there is nothing to worry about it. But if you notice some problem with his teeth or mouth while chewing or eating something then this is the matter of concern as then it can occur due to growth of bacteria. You cannot help it out in one day but you will have to take care of cleanliness of its teeth and mouth. It is very important to prevent it from other diseases. Normally dogs do not catch mouth diseases, as their saliva is enough antiseptic to prevent from any serious problem.
