    Criticism:
    No original and indestructible power:
There is no original and indestructible power of land. It is pointed out that there are no powers of soil which are indisputable. To this criticism, it is replied that there are properties of soil such as, climate variation, sun shine, soil composition, humidity, etc which are original and indestructible.

Term fertility dependent on some factors:
Term fertility may be dependent on some factors it may be increase by adopting new techniques and methods.
    Unrealistic:
The concept of no rent is merely imaginary and theoretical and is not in reality.
    All lands are equally fertile:
Ricardo said that the rent increases because land fertility is different but in the reality with the same fertility rent can be increased. This point is not realistic that the super land is cultivated first it is not necessary.
