No! Adults play games just as much as children do. The fact that some games are rated '18' indicates that games are designed for adults as well as children. Adults can also enjoy many of the games that children enjoy, as well as ones that are aimed at adults.
Games such as 'Resident Evil' and 'Silent Hill' are aimed at adults because they contain scenes that would not suit young children, such as violence, gore and bad language.
Many adults will end up playing computer games because they have purchased a console for their children. Playing computer games can be a social event, and many adult couples may play against each other for fun or get their friends round to join in.
