Dear, your question is somewhat very vague as you said that what are the differences between the marketing of industrial and consumer goods as in what context you are asking like from the price, distribution context or in promotional context, because the marketing involves four P's:

    Product
    Price
    Placement
    Promotion

Because the companies are also doing marketing by adopting different distribution strategies like pull and push, from whole sellers to retailers. I am going to tell you in perspective of promotion; mostly industrial products are promoted with the help of lengthy ads like in ad a complete picture regarding the usage of the industrial product. But the companies are promoting their consumer goods with the help of bill boards, attractive commercials, broachers.
