I Have A New Starter And Battery But Car Still Clicks On Start Up, Why?

My 1994 j30 infinity is having a problem with starting i was driving it and it died then started back up and clicked even with a new starter and battery it wont start. What else would keep it from starting?

    Bad earth off battery or engine

      Just a guess, but could be your alternator. If so, then your battery would drain while driving and the alternator would not recharge it.
      The key words in your question are; car (clicks). Sounds like the battery cables might not be getting a good connection/ground or alternator is bad. May be a loose connection.

        Have you checked the engine turns o.k, with a volt meter check across battery terminals for12.6 volts if ok check starter terminal should be 12.5 if ok suspect bad earth engine to body or faulty starter all so check the starter bendix has the wright number of teeth best off luck !

        Possibly a bad solenoid (starter relay).
