The Commonwealth of Nations was formed on December 31, 1931 as a voluntary association of independent states and the following countries are its members:
Antigua and Barbuda, Australia, the Bahamas, Bangladesh, Barbados, Belize, Botswana, Brunei, Cameroon, Canada, Cyprus, Dominica, Fiji, the Gambia, Ghana, Grenada, Guyana, India, Jamaica, Kenya, Kiribati, Lesotho, Malawi, Malaysia, Maldives, Malta, Mauritius, Mozambique, Namibia, Nauru, New Zealand, Nigeria, Pakistan, Papua New Guinea, Saint Kitts and Nevis, Saint Lucia, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, Samoa, Seychelles, Sierra Leone, Singapore, Solomon Islands, South Africa, Sri Lanka, Swaziland, Tanzania, Tonga, Trinidad and Tobago, Tuvalu, Uganda, U.K., Vanuatu, Zambia, Zimbabwe (suspended) and Tuvalu. The head quarter of this organization is in London (UK).
G-8 (Group of Eight): Actually has nine members, which are Canada, EU (as one member), France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Russia, UK and the United States.
ASEAN (Association of South- East Asian Nations): Established on August 8, 1967 to promote economic and political cooperation between the member nations - Brunei, Burma, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam and Pakistan, which recently became its member. China and Russia are the consultative partners, while the association's headquarter is in Jakarta, Indonesia.
