Has Tony Blair Adopted A New Approach Towards Immigrants?

Tony Blair has had a turn of attitude towards immigrants and he has now given a speech which has told them that they must develop a respect for other cultures and people within Britain if they want to call themselves British. Muslim men also have to treat the women better than what they currently do and they also have to have a command of the English language.

It all seems rather reasonable as if you go into any country it is only right that you adopt their values if you want to live there. How can you possibly expect to contribute towards the British culture if you do not show respect to the people who already live there? It seems that this new turnaround in attitude is a really good move though whether it will be a popular one is another matter entirely. It is definitely bringing the law into modern times however so we cannot argue with that!
