Do I Need A Visa To Visit London?

Answer Question

2 Answers - Sort by: Date | Rating

Have been studying in the UK and had to come to India on 30th March 2009, to attend a family emergency. Because of these unforeseen family circumstances, I have dropped out of my course and decided to stay back with my family.
As my trip to India was a call of urgency, there was no time for proper planning before my travel to finish the final tasks and commitments in the UK, such as handing over the property to landlord that I have taken on rent during my studies, closing down my bank accounts in good terms with the banks and also shipping all my belongings back to India and also this trip would help me to bid farewell to all my friends that I made in London during my stay there.
In light of the above, I would request you to kindly grant me sufficient stay, allowing me to settle the above mentioned commitments and come back to India in peace.
I confirm that I have sufficient funds to fund my trip and maintain in London during my stay. Please find self enclosed bank statements & tenancy agreement to confirm my accommodation in London, also other supporting documents from friend who is presently living and working in UK, letter of invitation, bank statements and salary slips.
