I have a Dachund and want to get her a male companion. My favorite name for the male is Bill Bailey. I plan to call him Bailey. I also think Blaze is a good name for a red dog. I like Zipper for really active dogs.

I have a red mini dachshund and her name is Peanut! My neighbor has a red standard and his name is Zippy. Another neighbor has a dapple mini dachshund and her name is Reba. I think you need to see what type of personality your pup has to decide on a name.
