The walking speed of an average man is four to five kilometres per hour, so, considering ten hours of rest for food, sleeping, etc. the remaining fourteen hours can bring us to sixty- seventy kilometres a day. For example, such a trip can take you from Florence to Pisa in Italy, from London to Oxford in England. It is definitely unlikely that, the day after such a trip, anyone could repeat this the following day.
Walking long distances like this requires training and the kind of physical endurance, that the average person just does not have, without the right build up which could take months.
