What Is Black Box Testing?

Answer Question

1 Answer - Sort by: Date | Rating

Black box testing is a form of testing in which the tester takes an external perspective to things. This means that the tester just knows about the inputs to the process and the outputs of the process, he/she has no knowledge whatsoever of how the process proceeds. This means that the tester does not look how the end result is achieved; testing is just concerned with what results are being achieved, not how they are achieved. This basically ensures that the one who made the program or product and the one who is testing it are independent of each other, each does his own work. This type of testing is quite common in software development.
