You dont need to be in a relationship with someone if you are shy. A relationship is meant to be open honest and understanding. You cant build anything with ur man or woman unless u are open to speak ur mind and feelings. That means u cant be shy.

There are all types of relationships out there-need has nothing to do with. The second comment here was better. If he truely is your boyfriend it shouldn't fell uncomfortable to talk (he should understand, if your a bit quiet). If your both like that then you're in trouble. My question is how can he be your "boyfriend" and you can't communicate with him or is he just a boy-friend?
The same thing happened to me until i found the right boy and i was really comfortable with him talking about everything 1st ask him about his day then let him do the talking ask him questions u will like to know and in no time u will be having a really long conversation
