Can You Compute The Second Type Of Error If The Population Mean Is 191?

Sample size=n=100, and significance level=0.023, and standard deviation of population= 25 and sample mean=195

Answer Question

    z=sample mean-
    population mean / standard deviation/ square root of sample size

    Putting values the z=1.6

    Probability of second type of error=area between z= infinity
    and z=1.6

    Probability of second type of error=0.5-P(0
    By area table

    Probability of second type of error=0.5-0.4452=0.0548
