Well, right now, as for fuel consumption goes, the Toyota Prius is hard to beat, but it is not as good as it once was, I have heard about a Suzuki that gets about 55 MPG, but I cannot remember what model it was, but as always, more fuel efficiency means less style and "Zip", so it all depends on how good you want it to be, versus how cool you want to look. There is the safety thing also, do not ever forget.

Why go gas?? Chrysler is coming out with 4 fully electric vehicle's that with hit the ground starting in 2011. There will be a Town and Country Van, a 4 door Jeep Wrangler, a 2 seater sports car and what they call a pea-pod. Kinda like a golf cart made for retirement communities.
