 Can Landlord Come In And Tear Down My Cielings Without Giving Alternate Houseing?
Landlord had contractor tear down ceilings and said my son and i had to deal with it we were not inconveineneced

 It is the landlord's responsibility to provide its tenants with habitable housing, and must comply with all building, housing, and health codes.

Rent Reductions may also be requested if the housing is not habitable for a period of time. I'm not sure what state you are in but here is a link to the tenant's rights in NY. Tenant's Rights I am sure each state has similar rights, and requires the landlord to provide habitable housing. Contact your local Government for more details or Search Google for Tenant's rights
