    Sunday is either known as the first day of the week or it is known as the last day of the week. It is also known as the second day of the weekend. Sunday is the day that comes between Saturday and Monday. It is not only considered as a holiday in Christian lands, but all over the world. On a Sunday almost all the countries in the world have a public holiday and all the corporations give a day of to their employees.

    The name Sunday is also known as the day of the sun and it is believed that the day originated in the pre Christian Egyptian culture. The first Christian reference of the day known as 'Sunday' is first said to appear in the 'First Apology of St. Justin Martyr.' This was sometime around circa 150 A. D.
