The cilantro herb mainly grows in the damp, cool and hot springs. They generally grow in the dry summers the cilantro herb mainly requires sunshine to grow. To plant this herb you need to choose a site where the soil is very well drained and has been amended with plenty of compost. However while planting a cilantro keep in mind that it does not have a very good transplanting system, so choose the location wisely as the plants have a deep taproot system. Sow the seeds of the cilantro plant ½ inch deep; if you are planning to plant in pots make sure that you plant them in peat pots as it can go in to the soil, thus leaving the roots of the plant undisturbed.
