Does Anyone Remember The Music Group "Sky" From The 70's (not Sure Of The Spelling)?

A friend and myself were discussing whether they were the one that sang "Riding High. I later found that it was "Faze-O" that sang that song.

Sky was indeed a country rock band from the early 70's. It was an American Band that released only two albums. They were called "Dont Hold Back" and "Sailor's Delight" The band is known for its key singer Doug Fieger who later started the band called The Knack.

My friend and I were thinking it was a soul (R&B) group by that name also. Will have to do some more research. Thank you.

Sailors Delight is one of the greatest albums of that era by any band. The song's Don't want nobody, come back & make it tight are wonderful. I listen to this on an almost daily basis.

Sky's album "Sailor's Delight" was in no way "country" music. It was split between a few hard rock gems and some bubble gum ballads. Never heard the other one. The style on "Sailor's Delight" was very similar to The Knack which included Sky's bass guitarist.

Anybody know if this available on CD? My original RCA album is scratched up and moldy.
