It is easy to install an Ethernet card. First, you need to unscrew and open the Central Processing Unit of you Computer or your laptop and located the PCI slot. The PCI slot is on the motherboard and look for an empty slot. Your PCI slot may already have a PCI card and another slot for another kind of card like an Ethernet or a sound card. After you select the PCI slot that you need to use it to install the Ethernet card, you will have to remove the "Blank" from the slot.
A "Blank" is a protective shiel card dthat is in an unused PCI slot. You can refer to your computer's case manual to learn how to remove the blank. Push in the Ethernet card into position in the slot. Fix it with the screw that is provided. Reboot your machine and the card will be recognized by Windows.
