Madison in Wisconsin is a beautiful city with a welcoming atmosphere and a wonderful mix of a lake and a city with a proud and rich history there is plenty to see and do.

1. Take a trip to the theatre. There are over 10 theaters in this culturally vibrant city so you can't come to Madison and not take in a show. Whatever your tastes you will find something to suit.
2. Spend the day at the Henry Villas Zoo, a massive zoo, with no entry fee, but a huge range of animals, birds and aquatic features. Dedicated conservation this really is educational but fascinating and some of the animals are amazing o watch.
3. Have a tour of the capitol building with its fantastic architecture and incredibly impressive history, even non history buffs will be amazed by this building and just how huge and beautiful it is, as it takes its place looking over the heart of the city.
4. Shopping in Madison is awesome. Shops abound with downtown shops with curious crafts and small gifts right the way across the spectrum to designer boutiques and very expensive shops. A range to suit all pockets.
