A few shades lighter than your grey carpet. Accents could be green, red, white - almost anything - but don't go with more than 3 colors in your room. Less is almost always more.

Forgot - picture frames, lamps, and only about 3 items in your room could be black! Sharp. Yes - that's the 4th color.....oh well.
I would paint just one of the smaller walls a sort of "deep mauve" color and the other walls white.
