At least a 12/2 with ground either uf with no pvc or romex with pvc piping. Th uf is underground feeder and is a lille more expensive but the with regular romex and pvc the cost will be about the same

You need what is called a 3/4 inch LB and some 3/4 inch pipe. You can either run pipe the entire way to the pump or dig down 24 inches and dead end the pipe and run 12/2 UF with a ground. If you run pipe the whole way, you only need to be 18 inches deep. In either case you will need a single pole 20 amp breaker in the panel as most above ground pool pumps are just 120 volt, and they usually plug in. You will also need a GFI outlet and a weatherproof box with an in-use cover. Run your pipe or wire from the pump to the outside of your house directly behind your panel. Install your box on a deeply driven 2x4 and terminate your wire within it and install your GFI with an in-use outlet cover. Open your panel and remove a 3/4 inch knock-out (there should already be 1 or 2 in the panel) punch a hole to the outside and run your pipe up the side of the wall and put your 3/4 inch LB into this hole. Terminate your wire inside the panel, install the breaker, then replace the cover. Strap all your pipe, and plug in your pool pump. Turn on the breaker and reset the GFI. Don't forget to mark the breaker inside the panel as pool pump.
