Twice a day is normal for dogs as each time you fed them they have to relieve themselves and a dog will eat everytime you give him food....the best to you

Just leave a bowl of for food one the floor that is what i do and if it is gone real fill it half way then if she/he eats it all dont gave them anymore food for about like 3 to 4 hours. Cause u want your dogs to be full but not to full :)
