It might occur about 5 years earlier than if you hadn't had the hysterectomy but the severity depends on how quickly your ovaries stop working.  Some women it is gradual with very little change noticed and others it is more abrupt with significant hot flashes.  Regardless, you shouldn't have any symptoms until after age 40 unless your genetics are to go through it earlier, and may not until the average age of 52! Not sleeping well, hot flashes, irritability and just not feeling right are the most frequent symptoms.

Watch out for your bladder. Most women experience their bladder coming out with out the cervix there to hold it up in place.
