Who Was Robert Hansen?

Robert C. Hansen was born on the 15th of February in the year 1939 in Estherville, Iowa in the United States of America. He was basically an American Serial killer who used to take his victims into the Alaska woods by his private plane and then hunt them down like wild animals in a game. As a child Hansen was basically a loner and was subject to bullying by other children his age. He got married in the year 1960 but his wife left him when he was sent to prison for burning down a school bus garage. He served 20 months in prison. He was then jailed for several months over the next years for petty thefts. He was well like by his neighbors and was known to be a very good hunter.

He began murdering prostitutes in the year of 1980. He used to pay them for sexual proposes, kidnap them and rape them and then fly them in his private plane to his cabin in the woods and then hunt them down like animals and eventually kill them. One the 13th of June in the year 1983 one of his victims escaped and went to the police. He was then arrested and he took police to his cabin where jewelry and other items of his victims. He then showed the police the grave sites. The police were unaware of 12 other victims whose remains were discovered. Upon conviction he was sent to a maximum security prison where he is serving time till today.

Robert C Hansen was an American serial killer who took his victims to Alaskan wilderness by plane and there he hunted them in cold blood.

He was born in 1939. When he was a child he used to stutter and was a target for bullying by other boys and his strict father. In December 7, 1960, he was arrested for setting fire to a school bus garage and was sentenced to 20 months in prison. His wife divorced him when he was sent to jail. He served a few other jail terms for minor crimes. He married again in 1963 and shifted to Anchorage, Alaska in 1967. He gained fame as a local hunting champion but in 1977 he was imprisoned for theft and diagnosed with a mood-swing disorder. He was released a year later.

In 1980, he started killing female sex workers. He used to kidnap and rape them, fly them in his plane and kill them with his hunting knife. In June13, 1983, one of his victims managed to flee and informed the police about he was trying to do with her.

John Douglous ,who was tasked with investigating the case, arrested him in October 27, 1983. Upon pleading guilty, he was sentenced to 461 years in prison plus life.
