How Can You Train A Cat To “do Its Business” In A Toilet?

A rare cat will do this naturally, but there is another way to train one to do so.
Start by moving the litter box into the bathroom. After the cat has begun using it regularly, remove it and fashion a different "litter box" in this way:
Cut a cardboard rim the shape of the toilet seat and cover it with a sheet of clear plastic. Fasten the fake seat by wires to the underside of the toilet. Place cat litter in the toilet seat, with the rim of the toilet as the edge of the new "litter box" and the plastic sheet above the bowl.
With it usual litter still in the bathroom, the cat should readily accept the new "litter box." After a few days, remove half of the litter. The cat will have learned by this time to stand on the toilet seat because of the insecurity of the plastic bottom of the "litter box."
Over the next few days, gradually remove more and more litter and make holes for the cat's urine to drip through. Finally, remove all of the plastic and litter.
Note: If the cat slips off of the toilet seat and falls into the water, the entire process may have to be repeated.
I've never tried this, but it certainly sounds feasible. Good luck!
