Answer Question

Video Games "trick" the brain, the same as movies and t.v. It is the reason we cry during sad movies. Sometimes the human body cant tell the difference between reality and t.v. So I conclude, yes. It can effect your heart rate. But, no more than any real life situation would.

No. What causes your heart rate to increase is adrenaline. Your adrenal glands pump certain hormones into your body to help you give a boost of power to overcome certain things.
